Be a Friend to an Elderly Neighbor

The DNCA Outreach Committee is partnering with Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly to offer companionship to elderly neighbors who would otherwise be alone during the holidays, and to spend part of Christmas Day with them. Visits usually last between 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Tree Planting and Maintenance

A property owner can request a street tree to be planted by Philadelphia Parks & Recreation. Planting of streets trees is ONLY done in the spring and fall and is dependent upon available funding. If you have a concern with an existing tree please complete a Tree Maintenance Service Request Form.

Block contacts help DNCA communicate with our neighbors. This could mean helping to distribute flyers and notices, spread the word about upcoming events, or help neighbors contact the appropriate person at DNCA.
