The DNCA Outreach Committee is partnering with Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly to offer companionship to elderly neighbors who would otherwise be alone during the holidays, and to spend part of Christmas Day with them. Visits usually last between 30 minutes to 1 hour.

If interested, you will need to do the following:

• call Barbara Gindhart or Nancy Dooby by this Friday, December 9th at (215) 765-8118
• be prepared to provide a reference
• attend a short orientation at the Little Brothers local office at Broad and Wallace on Wednesday, December 21st

At the orientation you will be provided with a Christmas present, a basket of fruit, and flowers to bring to your elderly buddy’s house.

Each volunteer will be able to pick which section of the city to visit, so when you call let them know that you are interested in visiting a senior in Dickinson Narrows, or the 19147 area code and Barbara or Nancy will match you.
